Transferring Files Guide
cash7c3 has got another great guide up--for transferring files to and from your Slvr using P2K Commander!

Complete Redesign of Site
All right, some of you may have noticed the CPU errors we've been getting at MoGu--growing pains for a growing site! I have recoded the whole site to straight code instead of using the CMS I was using--not because it was a buggy CMS, but because I can't afford my own server, which is what the CMS deserved! Bottom line is you should notice a much quicker site, and no more errors! Thanks--stick around, we're growing like crazy!

Menu Editing (Re-mapping Keys).

by cash7c3

This is a little piece on the wide array of remapping keys for the Slvr. I think it best to first post a backup seem for the original key mapping for the Slvr:

Cingular_005b.zip

Stock_005b.zip

A few notes...
I made this guide based on the fact that I have a stock, unlocked, non-cingular version of the Slvr, so, the PTT button is defined (default) as the Smart Key

You may have to remap your PTT button to the smart key in order to match my settings I have in the table, by doing the following:
seem 0032_0001:
offset OC change from 01 to 03
seem 005b_0001:
offset 17 change from 40 to 15

The names I have given these buttons in the diagrams aren’t necessarily the definitive function of the button. It is merely a name I have given it to make it easier for referring to a button rather than saying, “that button on the bottom left hand side of the phone with the screen facing upwards.”

I haven’t tested all of these, so I implore that you do not crucify me if something isn’t right, because it is infinitively easy to correct an eroded seem.

That being said, onto the actual diagrams…

Now for the instructional part of this little rant.

This table shows 3 things, the first column is what offset you can find the specified button, the second column is what button goes with that offset, and the third column is the value that is associated (default) with that button.

So for example let’s take keypad 4. If I were to want to change it to work as keypad 7, I would locate keypad 4’s offset, which is 03, and replace the value that is in the offset (no bit manipulation) with the value that is in keypad 7’s offset. Simple, right?

g'luck everyone...

just thought id mention this, my brother remapped the PTT button to work as the menu button, and he remapped the Extended Button to work as Keypad 5, so instead of menu 5, now he does PTT+Extended, i didnt really like it, but maybe someone else will

**UPDATES**
1) the value 3F functions as camera. so replacing an offset value with 3F will result in that button functioning as a quick shortcut to the camera.

Special thanx for this tutorial goes to vdizzzzle from MoMo
